File:Cranberries; - the national cranberry magazine (IA cranberriesnatio6668port).pdf[edit]

This isn't US Gov work, as could have been determined by looking at the actual scanned document in the PDF file.

The previous DR may have been closed but clearly had a comment indicating some of the issues in the scans had copyright notices.

As I said in the most recent DR Commons:Deletion requests/File:Cranberries; - the national cranberry magazine (IA cranberriesnatio6668port).pdf, It would be appreciated that if items get renominated, some effort is made, including the possibility that there may be an incorrect license involved.

It perhaps wasn't clear enough that the original PD-US-Gov license was incorrect in the original DR. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 21:00, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Clean crop[edit]

Nice job on File:The New Yorker 0020, 1925-07-04 - page 4 - header.jpg. I also made File:The New Yorker 0001 1925-02-21 (page 3 crop) (cropped).jpg, which is the same header from a different issue. As you can see from Category:The New Yorker, Volume 001, Issue 01, I made a lot of crops as JPGs and then converted them into PNGs to remove that discolored background and turned it into a transparency or made some shaky lines into straight ones (File:The New Yorker 0001 1925-02-21 (page 28 crop) (cropped) 6.png). Are you much an image-editing whiz? I'm pretty bad at it and I think that there must be a more efficient way to work. If you're not or otherwise not motivated to work on these, NBD. Thanks. —Justin (koavf)TCM 17:46, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Pig I'm not much of an image whiz, and only made the header crop because I was working on the page to extract the cartoon, which is what I was really interested in. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 18:20, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
